Here Is What We Are Doing to Protect You from COVID-19
If you are one of my patients, then you know that my undergraduate degree is in Microbiology. Therefore, I do have a working knowledge of viruses and how to avoid their spread. I want to educate our patients and families about the following changes to our daily operation to ensure your safety:
1. Every member of our staff is observing the personal hygiene recommendations by the CDC for healthcare workers. Additionally, staffs’ temperatures are checked daily and we are wearing masks and eye wear to protect you.
2. All patient contact surfaces are cleaned between patients with a powerful hospital grade disinfectant.
3. We are sterilizing our HVAC unit nightly with ozone and UV light. If you would like, we offer our patients a parking lot waiting room option: We ask that you call or text us from the parking lot. When we are ready, you will be directed to a sterilized treatment room. You will no longer need to interact with the KIOSK. We will ensure that you will not come into contact with anyone except your provider. Once your treatment is complete you will leave with the same protective distancing. Additionally, we are asking that patients come alone. Or, non-patients, please wait in the car.
